Flight Times

Currently, Perth is the only Australia city offering direct flights to London, although Melbourne and Sydney may be following suit soon, and these direct flights take about 17 and a half hours.

On the other hand, if you are travelling from the East Coast and need to make a change, the flight will take over 23 hours, with a stopover somewhere such as Singapore, Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

Entry Requirements

Australia citizens travelling to London as tourists, for less than six months, won’t require a visa, although the UK authorities can refuse you entry if they have reason to believe you’re coming for reasons other than tourism. London Stansted (STN)

Stansted is located in Uttlesford, Essex, about 42 miles northeast of Central London, with the Stansted Express providing trains to Liverpool Street station every 15 minutes.

Luton (LTN)

Luton Airport is located in the town of Luton, Bedfordshire, about 29 miles north of London, with trains available to St. Pancras International station, which take around 35 minutes.
