Many Orlando residents will confess they don’t know more than a handful of people who were actually born there, and the local population of just under 250,000 is dwarfed by the 62 million tourist that visit every year. While locals will occasionally visit the parks and use the other facilities the city has to offer, most will avoid the main tourist attractions the majority of the time. Instead they tend to hang out stick to local neighbourhood malls, such as the Loop in Kissimmee or Park Avenue in Winter Park.
